Welcome!

RNA and Cancer is the theme of the Winter 2009 minisymposium organized by the Molecular Oncology Program of the University of Colorado Cancer Center. The one day symposium will be held in Hensel Phelps Research Auditorium-West at the University of Colorado Anchutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, on January 15th, 2009. This is an extremely exciting time for research into the role of RNA in cancer, and leading RNA biologists will present their breakthrough studies at this meeting, which focuses on novel insights into microRNAs and protein synthesis and targeting these processes towards the development of new therapeutics for cancer medicine.

The Minisymposium will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together scientists working in all areas of basic cancer research and clinicians to discuss progress in this rapidly moving and translationally important field. The Symposium comprises four sessions, with two keynote speakers.

All members of the Rocky Mountain science community are invited to attend.

Lunch is included with registration. Registration is free and the registration deadline is January 7th.
